United Ag & Turf is a John Deere Dealership with multiple locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas New Mexico. United Ag & Turf serves customers in a variety of industries such as commercial, construction, agricultural, as well as, consumers. United Ag & Turf strives for exceptional customer experience throughout all our locations and departments including parts, sales, service, and transportation.
\nPurpose:
\nSells new and used agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment to new and existing customers.
\n\nResponsibilities
\nThe following are essential functions of this position:
\n- \n
- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area \n
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership \n
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly \n
- Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management \n
- Knows and follows a defined sales process \n
- Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events \n
- Conducts new equipment field demonstrations \n
- Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management \n
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods \n
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars \n
- May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes \n

\nRequirements
\nRequired Education and Experience
\n- \n
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience. \n
- Excellent communication skills. \n
Preferred Education, Experience and Requirements
\n- \n
- One- year prior equipment sales experience. \n
- Knowledge of commercial equipment. \n
- Ability to use standard desktop load functions such as Microsoft Office and internet functions \n
- Ability to work flexible hours \n
- Excellent customer relationship skills \n
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports \n
Physical Demands
\nThis position requires various physical demands that are necessary to perform the essential functions of the position, including:
\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; reach with hand and arms; and talk or hear. The employee will frequently be required to sit, walk, climb, balance, and tolerate extreme outdoor conditions. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
