Mechanical Equipment Assembler

Location: Kansas City, KS

Pay Rate: $23.00 – $27.00 / hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Mon – Thu (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) (Enjoy every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!)

What You’ll Do

• Equipment Assembly: Assemble heavy industrial equipment to precise customer specifications using hand and power tools.

• Blueprint Interpretation: Read technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications to build components accurately.

• Material Handling & Logistics: Safely operate forklifts to move materials and assist with loading/unloading commercial transport trucks.

• Shipping Prep: Prepare finished equipment and sub-assemblies for secure shipment.

• Safety & Teamwork: Maintain a clean work environment and collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines safely.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: Prior experience in machinery assembly, fabrication, or shop environments (welding skills are a plus!).

• Required Skills: Forklift operation experience and basic proficiency with hand tools and tape measures.

• Technical Ability: Ability to read or quickly learn how to interpret mechanical blueprints and shop drawings.

• Education & Basic Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; 18+ years old; legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Physical & Schedule Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varied shop temperatures, and work overtime when required.
