Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist I is responsible for delivering evidence-based, patient-focused rehabilitation services aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and promoting independence. You will work closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team to create personalized treatment plans that support patients in reaching their rehabilitation objectives.

  • Assess patients and formulate tailored treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, mobility assistance, and functional rehabilitation.
  • Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment strategies and home exercise regimens.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate EMR documentation and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate in Physical Therapy.
  • A valid state Physical Therapy license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
Compensation Transparency
