\nJob Summary and Qualifications \n\n\n\nWe are seeking a Float Pool Nurse that will perform direct patient care through utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act, physician orders, hospital policies and procedures, and established professional standards. You are responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, competent care either through direct delivery of that care or appropriate delegation and for performance improvement and quality initiatives as appropriate.
\nWhat qualifications you will need:
\n\n- \n
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. BSN preferred. \n
- Current RN License by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California \n
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required \n
- Current ACLS required \n
- NIHSS Stroke certification required \n
- Minimum passing score of 80% on the Los Robles EKG exam required \n
- Minimum of one-year acute care RN experience required \n
- ICU-level nursing experience required \n
- Flexibility to float between all units (Med Surg to Critical Care) and adapt to varying patient ratios \n
