Job Title: Business Analyst – ERP Process Documentation

Our client is seeking two experienced Business Analysts to support an enterprise-wide initiative to document current business processes, identify operational challenges, and establish a strong foundation for future ERP solution design.
\nThe selected candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts across key functional areas to assess current-state workflows, capture process variations and exceptions, identify pain points and inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities for improvement, including appropriate uses of artificial intelligence and change-management support.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Facilitate discovery workshops, interviews, and working sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders. \n
- Document end-to-end current-state business processes, including workflow variations, exceptions, handoffs, systems used, and decision points. \n
- Identify and clearly communicate process pain points, gaps, inefficiencies, duplicative work, and operational risks. \n
- Assess where AI-enabled tools or automation may improve efficiency, accuracy, service delivery, or decision-making. \n
- Identify anticipated resistance to change, adoption barriers, stakeholder impacts, and areas requiring change-management planning. \n
- Develop professional process documentation, including process maps, workflow diagrams, narratives, findings, and supporting artifacts. \n
- Collaborate with college leadership to co-develop a practical work plan, timeline, session schedule, and deliverables for each functional area. \n
- Present findings and documentation in a clear, executive-ready format that can be used to support future ERP design, selection, and implementation efforts. \n
- Maintain strong stakeholder communication, manage meeting outcomes, and track open questions, decisions, and follow-up actions. \n

Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Finance, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. \n
- Five or more years of Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, ERP consulting, or comparable experience. \n
- Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder interviews, workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and process-discovery activities. \n
- Strong current-state process mapping and documentation experience, including workflows, swimlane diagrams, process narratives, and gap analyses. \n
- Experience identifying operational inefficiencies and developing practical improvement recommendations. \n
- Familiarity with ERP environments and enterprise business processes. \n
- Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills. \n
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with executive leadership, SMEs, IT teams, and operational departments. \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n- \n
- Experience in higher education, community college, public sector, or similarly complex organizations. \n
- Experience with ERP modernization, ERP implementation, business transformation, or process-reengineering initiatives. \n
- Knowledge of finance, HCM, procurement, student services, financial aid, or student information systems. \n
- Experience evaluating AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation opportunities. \n
- Change-management experience or certification, such as Prosci. \n
- PMP, CBAP, CCBA, Lean Six Sigma, or similar professional certification. \n
