Software Engineer
Job Description
About the Role
\nWe're an early-stage SaaS company building a platform to automate mission-critical integrations for the real economy — specifically focused on supply chain connectivity. We're looking for a Software Engineer with 3–8 years of experience who brings strong technical horsepower, sharp judgment, and a genuine drive to build foundational systems from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
\nThis is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you'll make architectural decisions that shape the product and engineering culture for years to come. You'll work across both cutting-edge AI/agentic systems and complex infrastructure — no silos, no hand-holding.
\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this role.
\nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- \n
Design and build purpose-specific AI coding agents from scratch, tailored for supply chain connectivity use cases.
\n - \n
Develop and maintain core infrastructure for hosting and running integrations — effectively a mini-runtime/deployment platform (think Vercel, but purpose-built for our stack).
\n - \n
Own core systems end-to-end: from the agent platform to the integrations runtime.
\n - \n
Make foundational architectural decisions that will define the platform's future.
\n - \n
Establish engineering patterns and best practices that scale with the team and product.
\n - \n
Work fluidly across the agentic AI layer and the heavy infrastructure layer of the product.
\n
What We're Looking For
\nMust-haves:
\n- \n
- \n
3–8 years of experience as an individual contributor software engineer.
\n - \n
Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
\n - \n
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
\n - \n
Proven track record of shipping and owning complex software products end-to-end.
\n - \n
Hands-on experience building with or using AI agents and/or Large Language Models (LLMs).
\n - \n
Experience building platform engineering or infrastructure systems (e.g., runtimes, execution environments).
\n
Nice-to-haves:
\n- \n
- \n
Prior experience at a developer tools or infrastructure-focused company.
\n - \n
Familiarity with any of: React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, or AWS.
\n - \n
Background from a top technical university.
\n
Compensation & Benefits
\n- \n
- \n
Salary: $150,000 – $300,000 per year, depending on experience.
\n - \n
Early-stage equity opportunity.
\n - \n
Direct impact on product direction and engineering culture from day one.
\n
Location
\nThis is an on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates should be local or willing to relocate. Visa sponsorship is not available.
