Compensation: $1795 - $2163 | Shift: 5x8 Evenings

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in this long-term care facility, you will be instrumental in promoting the health and well-being of residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating promptly with physicians, families, and other stakeholders about significant changes in residents' conditions.
  • Conducting all necessary resident assessments.
  • Administering medications while adhering to the five rights of medication administration.
  • Performing wound care and assessments as required.
  • Assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with responding to call lights.
  • Monitoring residents for any changes in their health status.
  • Taking a leadership role on the floor by evaluating and directing situations as necessary.
  • Reporting any suspected cases of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
  • Maintaining precise resident records through thorough and accurate documentation.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements

To thrive in this position, you should possess the following:

  • A two-year nursing degree (a four-year degree is preferred).
  • A valid Registered Nursing license in Wisconsin.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
