Telecommunications Field Technician — Paid Training Provided

MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking Field Service Technicians to support residential installations in Greenville, NC and surrounding communities.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and learning valuable technical skills. Whether you’re beginning a new career or expanding your expertise, we’ll provide the training and resources you need to succeed.

Training & Pay

• Start Date: August 31st
• Training Location: Garner, NC (hotel and expenses covered if distance qualifies)
• Training Pay: $15/hour
• After Training: Transition to piece-rate pay with strong earning potential
  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Drive a company-provided vehicle to customer homes
• Install satellite television and smart home technology equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve service or connectivity issues
• Educate customers on their new services
• Work safely while maintaining high-quality service standards

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to lift 60–80 lbs regularly
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 36 feet
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license
• Weekend availability
• Commitment to attend training starting August 31st in Garner, NC (hotel and expenses provided if distance qualifies)
