CDL Class A Long Haul Driver
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Long Haul Driver to transport freight across regional and national routes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. This role requires extended periods on the road and a commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently over long-haul routes.
Transport freight to designated locations while meeting delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company safety policies.
Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Maintain accurate driver logs, fuel receipts, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding load status and route updates.
Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, traffic violations, or delays promptly.
Follow established routes while adjusting for weather, traffic, and road conditions as necessary.
Deliver exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Minimum of 2 years of verifiable long-haul driving experience preferred.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Knowledge of regulations and safety requirements.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate GPS systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and mobile communication tools.
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to climb in and out of tractor-trailers and perform vehicle inspections.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Extensive travel and overnight stays required.
Irregular schedules, including weekends, holidays, and nighttime driving, may be required.
Independent work environment with limited direct supervision.
Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples endorsements (if applicable).
Experience operating refrigerated, flatbed, or dry van equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Pay Details: $250.00 per day
