Location: Newport, RI
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance & Groundskeeper to join a residential property team in Newport, RI. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping outdoor spaces well-maintained and enjoys tackling a variety of basic maintenance and handyman projects.
The Maintenance & Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the property's grounds and assisting with apartment turnover work, ensuring units are clean, functional, and ready for new residents.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and care for property grounds and common outdoor areas
- Perform basic landscaping and groundskeeping duties
- Complete general handyman and minor maintenance repairs
- Assist with apartment turnover and preparing units for new residents
- Perform basic painting, patching, touch-ups, and other repairs as needed
- Help identify maintenance issues and address them promptly
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Assist the property team with additional maintenance projects as needed
- Provide dependable and responsive support to ensure the property remains safe, clean, and well-maintained
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance, handyman, groundskeeping, or property maintenance experience required
- Comfortable performing basic repairs and apartment turnover work
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform physical duties associated with grounds and property maintenance
