As an emergency physician and officer within the health care team of the Army Reserve, you will serve your community while being available for duty as required. Qualifications Required:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. institution; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates.
  • Active medical license in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
  • Eligibility for board certification.
  • Completion of at least one year in an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship.
  • Completion of a training program in emergency medicine.
  • Aged between 21 and 42 years.
  • Permanent residency in the United States.
