About the Role:
\nYou will:
\nAccurately process Sales Orders and Bids generated through telephone sales transactions.
\nAssist customers who pick up their order at our Profit Center.
\nFind innovative ways to grow sales with existing customers and become their trusted advisor.
\nIdentify opportunities for value-added services and articulate our solutions.
\nInvestigate and resolve customer problems and address pricing deductions and material returns timely and in accordance with Company policy and procedure, following up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
\nProcess Inside Sales returns and refund paperwork in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
\nCommunicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customer’s business that might cause a credit risk.
\nComplete various daily, weekly and monthly reports.
\nSupport the Product Manager’s activities as needed.
\nSuccessfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
\nPerform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:
\nExperience in customer service or inside sales
\nKnowledge of products sold in the Profit Center preferred
\n\n
Our ideal candidate will also:
\nEffectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, customer contact files, and to analyze customer data.
\nDemonstrate outstanding customer service, telephone/verbal communication, and generous listening skills.
\nDemonstrate product knowledge to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell.
\nBuild influential relationships and trust with customers and vendors through open and interactive communication.
\nBe able to ask probing questions to understand customer needs, overcome objections by recommending profitable solutions, explain our value-added services, and ask for the order and close the sale.
\nBe able to build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co-workers.
\nBe able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders.
\nBe able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
\nRead, write, speak, and understand English.
\nBe able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
