Travel Hospital Pharmacist in Sun Prairie, WI

This travel pharmacist opportunity is based at a 75-bed hospital in Sun Prairie, WI, offering a dynamic role within a central inpatient pharmacy. The position starts ASAP with an initial assignment of 13 weeks or longer, primarily featuring day shifts. The schedule mainly consists of 10-hour shifts, with occasional 8-hour weekend shifts when covering weekend rotations.

Responsibilities include managing multiple concurrent tasks such as verifying EPIC orders, reviewing technician work, and responding to pharmacist inquiries. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive medication care, including inpatient and outpatient IVs, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy. The hospital maintains an inpatient census typically between 30-40 patients, serving a variety of clinical areas including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, emergency department, and both inpatient and outpatient surgery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure appropriate for Wisconsin practice
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, preferably with inpatient service lines mentioned
• Proficiency in EPIC pharmacy systems
