Position Objective:
\n We are looking for a Project Manager who can ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet or exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will excel in direct client management, both in-person and virtually, and proactively understand client-specific use cases and requirements. Technical background with experience managing software projects through an SDLC required.

Summary of Position:
\n The Project Manager plays a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet or exceed client expectations. This role involves direct client management, both face-to-face and virtually, and requires a proactive approach to understanding client-specific use cases and requirements.
Responsibilities:

\n

• Face-to-face and virtual client management for software implementations
\n • Manage and execute multiple simultaneous projects from initiation to closure
\n • Take ownership and be accountable for project outcomes, ensuring they align with client expectations and deliver tangible value
\n • Collaborate and work closely with clients to gain insights into their unique use cases and requirements, shaping the project’s objectives and scope.
\n • Gather effort estimates, prepare work breakdown structures, and define project schedules in a formal project plan
\n • Coordinate and track the internal progress of the project, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met in a timely manner
\n • Create and manage tickets for client-requested features, ensuring a clear understanding of user stories and business requirements
\n • Prioritize work to best meet deadlines and proactively optimize teams’ time and effort
\n • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues, providing proactive communication to stakeholders and clients
\n • Develop and conduct presentations and demos, and other formal communications, to articulate project value and progress
\n • Drive the Change Management procedures for assigned projects
\n • Maintain Project Artifacts and implement versioning procedures throughout team
\n • Maintain effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
\n • Provide escalation management by addressing and resolving client escalations efficiently, while maintaining client satisfaction
\n • Provide internal training and mentoring on Project Management best practices
\n

Qualifications

\n

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
\n Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Project Management or the professional equivalent.

\n

• 3-5 years of proven experience in a demanding project management role within the software technology and IT solutions arena
\n • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multitask effectively
\n • Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple small projects concurrently
\n • Experience facilitating communication across all areas of the organization
\n • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n • Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude, with an ability to manage client relationships effectively
\n • Excellent presentation skills, with experience in developing and delivering formal communications
\n • Strong understanding of business needs
\n • Experience in risk management and escalation handling
\n • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook and Project, SharePoint experience preferred
\n • Ability to create clear and concise user stories and business requirements
\n • Strong understanding of business needs
\n • Detail oriented and able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
\n • Self-starter with good follow-through, able to take direction
Working conditions:
\n Main office – Blairhill Road
\n Travel may be required up to 30% of the time.
\n Although Project Managers generally work regular office hours, after-hours and weekend work is required based on project and client needs.
