Staff Pharmacist – Contract-to-Hire

Edwardsville, IL | 24–30 Hours/Week

A pharmacy in Edwardsville, IL is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers a flexible 24–30 hour workweek, a balanced schedule, and additional compensation for on-call availability.

Schedule
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Sunday: Emergency orders only
On-Call: Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
On-Call Pay: $8/hour

Responsibilities
Fill and accurately verify prescriptions
Counsel patients on medications and proper use
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures
Handle day-to-day retail pharmacy operations
Collaborate with patients and healthcare providers to support optimal medication therapy

Qualifications
Active Illinois Pharmacist License required
PharmD preferred
PioneerRx experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Retail pharmacy experience preferred
