Travel Hospital Pharmacist in Green Bay, WI

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a small, 40-bed hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, offering a unique chance to manage pharmacy operations in a diverse inpatient and outpatient setting. This role supports a hospital census of around 30-40 patients, with services spanning Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, emergency department, and surgical units.

Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.), with rotating weekends
• Alternative 7 on/7 off day shift block

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple concurrent duties within a central inpatient pharmacy, including verifying EPIC medication orders and reviewing technician work
• Address pharmacist inquiries and provide clear guidance to staff and patients
• Prepare and dispense inpatient and outpatient IV medications, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficiency in using EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems
• Ability to efficiently multitask and manage a dynamic inpatient pharmacy environment
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations, including chemotherapy preparation, is an advantage
