Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Machinist to join our machine shop team. This position will focus on forming stainless steel and other metal materials to create custom, high-quality pieces based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of press brake operating experience, with CNC press brake experience preferred. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and producing quality work.
Responsibilities:- Set up and operate press brake machinery to form stainless steel and other metals
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and measurements
- Produce custom parts and pieces according to specifications
- Select and install appropriate tooling and dies
- Make machine adjustments to achieve accurate bends and dimensions
- Inspect finished pieces for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Use precision measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and protractors
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards
- Work independently while maintaining production schedules and deadlines
- 3+ years of experience operating a press brake required
- CNC press brake experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to accurately measure and inspect finished parts
- Experience working with stainless steel is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and tooling issues
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a hands-on machine shop environment

- Shop is not temperature-controlled
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials
- Ability to safely handle metal sheets and parts
- Must be comfortable working around machinery, metal, noise, and normal shop conditions
- $25–$30/hour, based on experience and skill level
