Become a part of our healthcare team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to patients recovering from various surgeries, including hip and knee replacements, mastectomies, and abdominal operations. Your skills will be essential in promoting positive patient outcomes and supporting their recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver outstanding nursing care to post-operative patients
- Administer medications and manage intravenous drips, including PCA and Heparin
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans
- Utilize EPIC EMR for precise documentation and patient management
- Be flexible to float across various campuses as required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions may be considered)
- Active RN license in Iowa or a compact/multistate license is mandatory
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC is essential
- Experience with PCA and Heparin drips is required
