Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiologist (IR/DR Hybrid)

Our organization is excited to announce an opening for an Interventional Radiologist (IR/DR hybrid) at our UPMC Altoona facility, part of a prestigious health system. Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent degree, be board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology, and have the capability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license. Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures typical for a community hospital setting is essential.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Sign-on Bonus: $60,000
  • Flexible Scheduling: Choose between a 7-on, 7-off schedule or a traditional work schedule with 9 weeks of paid time off.
  • On-call Requirements: Overnight call for IR only, with additional compensation of $5,000 per week.
  • Collaborative Environment: Join a large team of over 90 subspecialty-trained Radiologists serving the majority of Western Pennsylvania. Your role will be supported by three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a team of Reading Room Assistants.
  • Academic Affiliation: Clinical appointment with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiology, offering opportunities for teaching and research participation if desired.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary: $600,000, with paid IR call and an attractive incentive plan that can elevate total compensation to between $730,000 and $850,000.
