Job Description
We are currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to become part of our dynamic, hospital-centered practice located in the greater Phoenix area. This role is perfect for a driven physician who thrives in an inpatient setting, enjoys tackling complex cases, and is eager to work across multiple hospitals in a rapidly expanding metropolitan area, recognized as the fifth largest city in the United States.
Position Highlights- Inpatient-focused role: Primarily a hospitalist position with optional outpatient clinic opportunities available.
- Weekend call: Expect to cover 8 or more weekend shifts annually (Friday 1:00 p.m. to Monday 8:00 a.m.).
- Hospital coverage: Provide care at approximately 3-7 hospitals each weekend, supported by 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a strong clinical team.
- Financial support: All licensing and credentialing fees will be fully covered by the organization.

Our fellowship-trained specialists are adept at managing intricate issues such as vaginal prolapse and prostate cancer, employing minimally invasive and robotic techniques to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life.
Our practice is recognized as a premier destination for referrals from physicians and patients in the Phoenix area, particularly for:
- Robotic surgeries (including prostate and kidney cancer, sacrocolpopexy)
- Advanced treatments for incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and erectile dysfunction
You will be joining a large, collaborative team that includes:
- Urology Specialists: A diverse group of experienced physicians.
- Urogynecology Experts: A dedicated team focused on female pelvic health.
- Support Staff: Over 12 Advanced Practice Providers assisting with both inpatient and outpatient care.
Our areas of expertise encompass:
- Prostate cancer management, Da Vinci robotic surgery, GreenLight laser treatments, and vasectomy
- Incontinence and female pelvic issues
- Erectile dysfunction treatments
- Laparoscopic nephrectomy
- Advanced therapies such as ThermiVa, Rezum, Urolift, and other BPH/pelvic health solutions
The Urology Hospitalist will be responsible for:
- Providing weekend inpatient coverage and rounding on hospitalized urology patients.
- Managing post-operative patients, handling inpatient consultations, and performing urologic surgeries and procedures.
- Collaborating closely with APPs and the broader team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Incorporating outpatient clinic sessions based on personal interest and team requirements.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
- Open to both recent graduates and seasoned professionals.
- Welcoming both AMG and IMG candidates.
- Passionate about modern, technology-driven urologic care and complex inpatient management.
