Surgical Pathology, Physician - Head & Neck/ENT Surgical Pathologist
Job Description
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, is seeking an academically oriented Head & Neck/ENT Surgical Pathologist for the Division of Anatomic Pathology. This is a full-time appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Professorial rank on either the tenured or non-tenure clinical track, depending on qualifications.
\nThe department is experiencing rapid growth and has established a sub specialization practice model, performing over 5.5 million tests and accessioning over 56,000 surgical pathology cases annually with a large case variety. There is an active ENT surgery department, with around 2000 ENT cases per year. The University of Kansas Health System is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, which provides rich opportunities for clinical and translational research, both within the department and within the Medical Center.
\nIn addition to ENT diagnostic sign out, the successful candidate will participate in 1-2 additional subspecialty areas, general surgical pathology frozen section services, and contribute to medical student, resident, and fellow training, and develop research projects reflective of their own interests.

Required Qualifications:

- M.D., M.D./Ph.D. or D.O. degree \n
- Board certified or eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology \n
- Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri \n

Preferred Qualifications:

- Fellowship training, or practice experience, in Head & Neck/ENT Pathology \n
