- The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of landscape maintenance clients, building long-term relationships that promote client satisfaction, retention, and ancillary sales. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations. \n
Duties and Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary (enhancement) services to existing clients within the portfolio \n
- Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed \n
- Deliver timely bid proposals and designs for enhancement projects. \n
- Generate referrals from existing client base and communicate leads to Business Developer \n
- Build and maintain strong long-term relations with clients, focusing on all pertinent points of contact \n
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are met \n
- Lead and facilitate the resolution of client concerns or issues \n
- Ensure timely account renewals within the assigned client portfolio \n
- Proactively assess and address site enhancement needs during visits \n
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations \n
- Schedule regular site visits with the Operations Manager for quality reviews and to ensure client expectations are met \n
- Support hiring, training, and coaching of field crews for the assigned portfolio \n
- Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures \n
- Ensure branch financial goals are met by maintaining acceptable gross margins for both base contract work and ancillary (enhancement) services \n
- Assist the Branch Manager in overall leadership of the branch to include participation in all relevant meetings \n
- Maintain proper account documentation and notes in the CRM system \n
- Monitor and maintain satisfactory accounts receivable levels \n
- Coordinate with the Branch Administrator to keep client records and contact information current \n
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager \n
Education and Experience:
\n- \n
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience in a customer-focused service industry \n
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, management, and leadership, preferably in the landscaping industry or local marketplace. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. \n
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities \n
- Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork \n
Physical Demands/Requirements:
\n- \n
- Operation of a computer and other office equipment/system, such as a laptop, cell phone, and sales and operational programs/tools \n
- Position is a combination of mobile and sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time \n
- Customarily and regularly spends more than half of the time working away from BrightView’s places of business, walking job sites, selling and obtaining orders or contracts for BrightView’s services \n
- Ability to travel by car, train, and plane \n
- Position needs to be able to traverse uneven grounds and walk on job sites with clients and the branch team for periods of time up to 4 hours \n
- Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur \n
Work Environment:

- Works both indoors and outdoors; attends branch stretch and flex 3-4 days per week \n
- Field-based position, a combination of office and customer-facing \n

\nCompensation Pay Range:
\n65,000- 75,000
\nBrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
