School Bus Aide - Earn $16 Per Hour - Lakewood, NJ

D.A.G. Transport is seeking responsible and caring Bus Aides to assist with monitoring children during transportation to and from school. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and want a flexible schedule.

  Flexible split shifts (AM & PM)

  No weekends or late nights required

Aide Responsibilities:

\n
• Assist students safely boarding and exiting the bus.
\n
• Provide assistance to students with physical, developmental, or behavioural needs.
\n
• Ensure students remain safely seated, secure wheelchairs, harnesses, and car seats as needed.
\n
• Participate in safety trainings/certifications, and communicate professionally with parents, school/transportation staff

Requirements:

  Ability to pass a background check

\n
• \n

  Reliable transportation

\n
• \n

  Experience working with children preferred (school, daycare, group home, etc.)

\n
• \n

  Experience with special needs children is a plus

\n
• \n

  Must be available for split shifts
