Job Description

Trillium Construction is seeking Entry level Electrical Apprentices for a long-term commercial construction project in Amarillo, TX.

This is an indentured 4-year paid apprenticeship program designed for candidates who want to build a long-term career in the electrical trade and work toward becoming a licensed Journeyman Electrician.

Project Details:

    \n
  • Pet Hospital construction project
  • \n
  • Approximately 14 months of steady work on this project
  • \n
  • Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours/week
  • \n
  • Some Saturdays and overtime may be required
  • \n
  • $100/day per diem for each day worked
  • \n
\n

Job Duties:

    \n
  • Assist Journeyman Electricians with commercial installations
  • \n
  • Pull wire and cable
  • \n
  • Install conduit, raceways, boxes, fixtures, and supports
  • \n
  • Assist with electrical equipment installation
  • \n
  • Learn to read electrical drawings and plans
  • \n
  • Use electrical hand and power tools
  • \n
  • Handle and stage electrical materials
  • \n
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • \n

Requirements:

    \n
  • Valid Texas TDLR Apprentice Electrician card
  • \n
  • OSHA 10
  • \n
  • Proper construction PPE
  • \n
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and 9-panel drug screen
  • \n
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn
  • \n
  • Must be committed to completing the full 4-year apprenticeship program
  • \n
