\nThis facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.\n

\nDetails & requirements for this opportunity:\n

  • Schedule: 24hr call and night call 8/18-20, 8/22-25; Call Shifts Only
  • \n
  • Job Setting: Hospital
  • \n
  • *Types of Cases: rounds on surgical patients, see consults from the floor and Emergency Department (ED), supervise the Physician's Assistant (PA)/Nurse Practitioner (NP) covering the floor and attest the notes, perform surgeries on patients referred from Emergency Department (ED) or floor consults. No elective surgeries or clinics are required. Assist in surgeries if needed. Need to be able to attend Trauma calls (Code 11 or Trauma Consult). We do not have a Trauma Center designation and do not have neurosurgery or cardiac surgery.

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
