Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Minneapolis, Minnesota

This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a central inpatient pharmacy with a diverse patient population and varied pharmacy responsibilities. Schedule:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts
• Occasional 8-hour weekend shifts during pharmacist rotation

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple concurrent tasks, including verifying EPIC orders and reviewing technician work
• Respond to pharmacist phone inquiries promptly and professionally
• Dispense inpatient unit dose medications, IV therapies, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Support a hospital census averaging 30-40 patients across Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, ED, and outpatient oncology
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure safe and accurate medication administration

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license with hospital experience
• Proficiency in EPIC pharmacy systems highly preferred
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient medication dispensing, including chemotherapy and IVs
• Strong multitasking and communication skills necessary for a fast-paced hospital environment
• Ability to adapt to shifting schedules and weekend rotations
