Compensation: $50.93 - $61.65 per hour

Job Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to produce specialized images of specific body parts for medical evaluation.

Qualifications
  • Required:
    • ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology.
    • New Jersey radiology license.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Preferred:
    • At least two (2) years of experience as a radiology technician is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
  • Producing radiographic images or positioning fluoroscopic equipment as directed.
  • Minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
  • Ensuring patient comfort during procedures.
  • Selecting and preparing contrast media for radiographic and special examinations.
  • Processing radiographic images for the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Identifying patients and ensuring the correct body part is indicated on all images.
  • Handling x-ray requests efficiently.
  • Assisting in the training of student technologists.
  • Demonstrating technical skills to student radiographers.
