Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the successful execution of ground-up and renovation construction projects within the K-12 education sector. This position requires a highly motivated professional with proven experience delivering school projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

    Manage all phases of assigned K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

  • \n
  • \n

    Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and owners to ensure project objectives are met.

  • \n
  • \n

    Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor scopes.

  • \n
  • \n

    Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and daily field operations.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and contractual standards.

  • \n
  • \n

    Lead weekly project meetings and maintain clear documentation and reporting.

  • \n
  • \n

    Support project team with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.

  • \n
  • \n

    Foster positive relationships with school districts, clients, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • \n

    Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with a strong emphasis on K-12 school construction.

  • \n
  • \n

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • \n
  • \n

    Proficient in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • \n

    Experience with public school district procurement processes and working in occupied campuses.

  • \n
  • \n

    Familiarity with local Houston-area school districts and municipal permitting.
