Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding care to patients with neuro and trauma conditions.
• Work in a 12-bed unit with a favorable 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, ensuring you receive the support necessary for exceptional care.
• Have the chance to float to various departments, including Cardiovascular, Telemetry Care, ICU/CCU, and Med Surg, enhancing your experience and skill set.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients utilizing ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains.
• Employ EPIC charting for precise and efficient patient documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt to different units as required while upholding high standards of care.
• Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of acute critical care experience is required.
• Experience in Level II trauma critical care is essential.
• Must possess a current California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant setting is necessary.
