Key Responsibilities

The staff nurse plays a crucial role in delivering nursing care to patients across all stages of life. This includes:

• Utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Adhering to the organization's policies and procedures while demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
• Maintaining high standards of practice and coordinating care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

QualificationsMinimum Education

Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.

Minimum Experience

New graduates from nursing programs are welcome to apply.

Licensure and Certification

Applicants must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Additionally, BLS certification is mandatory.

Additional Qualifications

• For PRN roles, a minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is advantageous.
• Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is preferred, if applicable (refer to addendum).
• Experience in a hospital setting is highly valued.
