Registered Nurse / RN ER

• The Registered Nurse operates under the guidance of the Nurse Director/Manager, ensuring the safe delivery of patient care for a variety of patient populations.
• The RN evaluates the needs of patients and their families, formulates and prioritizes patient objectives, assesses care delivery, and continuously updates the care plan to address the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of patients and families.
• The RN delegates care responsibilities as necessary to enhance patient outcomes.
• The RN complies with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN Licensure in Kansas.
• BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hire or transfer into the position and before providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification is required for Telemetry, ICU, and PCU roles.
• Oncology certification is necessary for Post-Surgery roles.
• Specific certifications must be obtained within one year of employment.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of one year of recent experience in a comparable healthcare environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
