Quick Facts Location: Chambersburg, PA (112 North 7th Street, ZIP 17201) Start Date: 11/02/2026 Scheduled End Date: 02/01/2027 Shift: Clinic days Mon-Fri, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Night shift 19:00 – 07:00 (5x8 hours) possible for hospital coverage Hours/Week: 40 hours/week (plus optional inpatient and call coverage) Employment Type: Full-time ongoing Certifications: Board Certification (Double Boarded preferred), PA license preferred Experience: Prior experience in Hematology/Oncology preferred but less experienced providers considered Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $498.86/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursable expenses Support from a dedicated team, including a nurse practitioner and virtual hematologist What You’ll Do Manage an outpatient Hematology/Oncology patient panel Conduct new patient consults, follow-ups, and treatment reviews Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, and IV iron treatments in clinic Perform bone marrow biopsies and port accesses (assisted by RN) Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including radiation specialists Participate in tumor board meetings and onsite patient care activities Support hospital inpatient and ER consultations, providing guidance for complex cases Cover as supervising provider for selected hospital coverage shifts What You Need Required: Medical license in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (or eligible) Proven experience in adult Hematology/Oncology Ability to perform port access procedures and work collaboratively Preferred: Double Board Certification Experience with outpatient infusion therapies Strong communication and patient management skills About the Assignment This role supports a comprehensive cancer institute accredited by the American College of Surgeons, with a focus on adult hematology and oncology. The practice handles common cancer types such as lung, breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers, with internal and external referrals for blood cancers. The team includes support staff and participates in tumor discussions to optimize patient care.
