Job Summary
A growing professional services organization in Irvine, CA is seeking a hands-on Controller/Accounting Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who is ready to take ownership of accounting operations, strengthen financial processes, and support long-term business growth.
The Controller will work closely with leadership in a stable, respected professional services environment that values accuracy, collaboration, process improvement, and forward-thinking financial management. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and accounting team performance.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Develop, improve, and maintain accounting processes, internal controls, systems, and reporting procedures.
- Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and technology to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Partner with leadership on financial analysis, business planning, and strategic decision-making.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $125,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid.
- Location: Irvine, CA.
