ResponsibilitiesThe staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the established policies and procedures of the organization, showcasing professional development and accountability. The staff nurse is tasked with upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing care.
Qualifications-
Minimum Education Required:
Completion of an accredited nursing program. -
Minimum Experience Required:
New graduates from a nursing program are welcome to apply. -
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:
A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification is mandatory. -
Additional Qualifications:
For PRN roles: A year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Advanced certification in a relevant specialty is a plus (refer to addendum).
Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
The position involves working in a dynamic hospital environment, requiring adaptability and collaboration with a diverse healthcare team.
