Senior Accountant

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis, MO area to identify a Senior Accountant. This role will support the month-end close process, prepare account reconciliations, maintain fixed asset accounting, and assist with financial reporting and process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about improving accounting processes while ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities: Senior Accountant will support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain fixed asset records and assist with lease accounting Perform account analysis, investigate variances, and support accurate financial reporting As a Senior Accountant, you will assist with audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives Collaborate cross-functionally and support special projects as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred 3+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting Knowledge of U.S. GAAP; fixed assets, lease accounting, manufacturing, and ERP experience are a plus Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and Excel skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
