Compensation Details

Our compensation structure includes:

  • A weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts
  • Base pay starting at up to $18.75 per hour

Job Responsibilities

The Small Engine Technician will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing a variety of outdoor small engine products, including:

  • Chainsaws
  • Snowblowers
  • Lawnmowers
  • UTVs and ATVs

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing outdoor power equipment and recreational vehicles
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience
  • Assisting customers with loading and unloading products, locating parts, and addressing repair inquiries
  • Documenting repairs on work orders and tracking units in the shop
  • Completing and filing work orders in a timely manner
  • Assisting with warranty claims
  • Communicating with customers regarding the completion of their repairs
  • Participating in training sessions for repair technicians
  • Adhering to Loss Prevention and safety policies
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability to work evenings and at least every other weekend
  • Previous experience in small engine and/or automotive maintenance
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Experience in a retail environment
  • Strong communication skills
