Key Responsibilities:- Provide call-only coverage, including beeper call responsibilities.
- Manage 1 to 5 patients per shift, with 3 to 5 patients during each call period.
- Deliver inpatient and emergency room coverage; outpatient clinic duties are not included.
- Care for both adult and pediatric general surgery patients.
- Perform essential procedures such as laparoscopic appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty.
- Conduct pediatric procedures, including hernias, atresias, and abdominal wall defects.
- Execute GI endoscopy and chest wall/pleural procedures.
- Demonstrate skills in central line insertion and vascular access devices.
