Pallet Builder / Production Associate

Location: Pittsfield, ME
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays may be mandatory based on production needs

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Pallet Builders / Production Associates to join our manufacturing team in Pittsfield. This position is responsible for building and preparing pallets used to safely package and ship finished products.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, performing physical work, using basic hand and power tools, and following safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble wooden pallets according to specifications and production requirements.

  • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber using hand and power tools.

  • Secure products and materials to pallets for shipment.

  • Inspect completed pallets and packaging to ensure they are secure and meet quality standards.

  • Move and stage completed pallets and materials throughout the production area.

  • Assist with loading and preparing products for shipment as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.

  • Work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.

  • Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, carpentry, or pallet-building experience is helpful but not required.

  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools.

  • Ability to read and follow basic work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime on Fridays when required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods.

  • Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and twisting.

  • Ability to repeatedly lift and move materials throughout the workday.

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and safely operate around production and material-handling equipment.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity.

Schedule & Pay

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

Regular Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Overtime:
Fridays may be mandatory based on production and business needs.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
