Fence Builder / Carpenter

Location: Pittsfield, ME
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays may be mandatory based on production needs

We are seeking an experienced Fence Builder / Carpenter to join our manufacturing team in Pittsfield, Maine. This is a hands-on position for someone with carpentry, woodworking, construction, or fence-building experience who takes pride in producing quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble fences, gates, and other outdoor structures according to specifications.

• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately.

• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, measurements, work orders, and production instructions.

• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.

• Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, drilling, fastening, fitting, and assembly.

• Perform other manufacturing and carpentry-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry, woodworking or fence-building experience required.

• Experience using hand and power tools.

• Ability to accurately measure and read a tape measure.

• Ability to read and follow drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work for extended periods.

• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
