Locum tenens assignments can vary significantly in duration, ranging from just a single day to several years. Some positions may be located far from your home, while others are more local.   • Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, with shifts from 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am.

  • Patient Load: Approximately 10 patients per shift, focusing on the adult population.

  • Coverage: 100% inpatient floor coverage.

  • Responsibilities: Duties include working in the MICU, SICU, and ED.

  • Experience Required: Prior experience in Neuro ICU / NSICU is essential.

  • Case Mix: Responsibilities will involve a combination of spinal and cranial cases, with variations based on patient volume.

  • Critical Care Experience: Neurocritical care experience is a must.
