\nMillennium Power Services is continuing to expand its precision machining capabilities supporting industrial valve repair, engineered components, and critical infrastructure customers across the United States.
\nThis role exists to support growing machining demand at the Westfield facility, with a strong focus on 4-axis CNC milling, Mastercam programming, setup, and precision manufacturing work. This is a high-impact position for a machinist who enjoys owning the entire machining process — from print review and programming through setup, prove-out, and finished part production.

\nThe Work You’ll Be Doing
\nIn this role, you will:
\n- \n
- Program, set up, and operate 4-axis Haas CNC milling machines \n
- Build and modify CNC programs using Mastercam \n
- Perform complete machine setups including tooling, fixturing, offsets, and prove-outs \n
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements \n
- Machine precision components while maintaining close tolerances and quality standards \n
- Edit programs and optimize machining strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times \n
- Select tooling, inserts, holders, and workholding solutions for each project \n
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment \n
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime \n
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment \n
- Collaborate with machinists, supervisors, and engineering personnel as needed \n

\nWhat We’re Looking ForRequired
\n- \n
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience \n
- Strong 4-axis CNC milling experience \n
- Hands-on experience with Haas CNC mills \n
- Strong Mastercam programming ability \n
- Ability to independently complete setups and prove-outs \n
- Experience machining to tight tolerances \n
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T \n
- Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining strategy \n
- Experience using precision measuring equipment \n
- Strong math, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills \n
Preferred (Not Required)

- Experience machining industrial valve or repair components \n
- Familiarity with Haas post-processors \n
