\nJob Summary
\nWe are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in San Marcos, TX. The ideal candidate will have prior urgent care experience and thrive in a fast-paced, outpatient environment delivering high-quality, efficient patient care.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nEvaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions
\nPerform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and other urgent care services
\nOrder, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
\nProvide patient and family education on treatment plans and follow-up care
\nCollaborate with urgent care physicians and support staff to ensure efficient, team-based care
\nDocument all encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
\nQualifications
\nCurrent Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner
\nNational certification (AANP or ANCC)
\nPrevious urgent care experience required
\nBLS and ACLS certifications
\nAbility to work independently with strong clinical judgment
\nSchedule & Compensation
\n3 shifts per week, with rotating weekends
