The VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Allergist/Immunologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Mather, CA. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, veteran-centered allergy and immunology care in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
\nThe selected physician will deliver comprehensive outpatient allergy and immunology services while contributing to the VAs commitment to excellence in clinical care, education, and patient safety.
\nDuties & Responsibilities\n

- Provide outpatient evaluation and management of allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergy, urticaria, angioedema, and immunodeficiency \n
- Perform and interpret allergy diagnostic testing, including skin testing and pulmonary function testing as applicable \n
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy when appropriate \n
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialty services in a team-based care model \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the VA electronic health record (CPRS) \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development \n
- Teaching and academic involvement may be available based on interest \n
Qualifications\n
- \n
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy and Immunology \n
- Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory \n
- Eligible for VA credentialing and privileging \n
- Commitment to patient-centered care for the Veteran population \n
