Job Summary
A well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to join its MEP team in Austin, TX. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a licensed Plumbing Professional Engineer who wants to combine technical design expertise, project leadership, client interaction, and business development in a highly visible role.
The Plumbing Project Manager will lead moderately complex to complex plumbing engineering projects from planning and design through construction administration and closeout. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, contractors, agencies, and multidisciplinary engineering teams while serving as a key leader in the full MEP design process.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage plumbing engineering projects from initial planning and design through construction administration, field observation, and closeout.
- Perform and oversee plumbing calculations, designs, plans, specifications, estimates, preliminary studies, and technical recommendations.
- Lead project schedules, priorities, assignments, team coordination, and performance expectations to support successful project delivery.
- Serve as a primary liaison for clients, contractors, agencies, internal teams, and other project stakeholders.
- Review project documentation, drawings, field data, and contractor work for accuracy, quality, compliance, and alignment with specifications.
- Support client relationships, proposals, project pursuits, business development efforts, and opportunities to expand MEP services.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 to $160,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Occasional overtime may be required based on project needs.
- Location: Austin, TX.
