Job Description
Step into a dynamic educational setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, working directly with students to help them achieve their communication goals for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role begins in late August, with students starting in early September, and runs through June. Located near Andover, MN, the position offers a supportive, school-based environment, welcoming both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs) eager to launch their school-based careers.
Required Qualifications:
- Active MN Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license (must submit a PDF copy)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Experience in a school setting is ideal, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Passion for fostering student growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students’ needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and inclusion
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and staff collaborations
- Manage a diverse school-based caseload
This full-time opportunity offers a traditional Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours each week, providing structure and consistency.
