Kforce's client, a public accounting firm with over 60 years of tradition in Livingston, New Jersey (NJ), is adding a Manager/Senior Tax Manager to their High Net Worth and Investment Partnerships Practice of Clientele. In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for: Complex federal, state, and local tax returns for partnerships, including real estate partnerships and financial services entities and hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds, and related investment structures as well as high-net-worth individuals and family groups Tax planning and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and investment entities. Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide practical solutions to complex tax issues Building and maintaining strong client relationships Ensure timely delivery of services Supervise, mentor, and develop senior, staff, and junior tax professionals and review work prepared by staff, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback Assist with tax research and interpretation of federal and state tax regulations This company has great culture and benefits with a team and collaborative environment and a is strong NJ presence in the community. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 8-10+ years of public accounting tax experience Significant experience with partnership taxation, including real estate partnerships, hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds Strong experience with individual income tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals Demonstrated experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing multiple engagements simultaneously Strong client relationship and communication skills Experience supervising and mentoring staff Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills Experience working with closely held businesses, family offices, or alternative investment structures CPA or masters in Tax preferred The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
