Quick Facts Location: 420 North Center Street, Hickory, NC 28601 Start Date: 08/12/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing / as per assignment Shift: M-F 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and/or 7 on 7 off model with occasional weekends Hours/week: Full-time Employment Type: Contract / Per diem Licenses/Certifications: Active NC License, NC DEA Experience: Previous inpatient cardiology APP experience, Cerner EMR proficiency Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Competitive pay packages Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and reimbursement for travel when applicable 24/7 dedicated team to support your success What You’ll Do Conduct inpatient rounding and patient consultations in a cardiology setting Support cardiologists with inpatient management and consults Navigate and document in Cerner EMR accurately Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans Assist with daily unit operations and patient care coordination in inpatient settings Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and policies What You Need Required: Active NC License and NC DEA Prior inpatient cardiology APP experience Proficiency with Cerner EMR Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Experience supporting cardiologists in a hospital setting Flexibility with shift schedules and occasional weekend work About the Assignment Join a respected cardiology team in Hickory, NC, providing critical inpatient care.
