Schedule: NP ownership in local Internal Medicine Practice

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Family Medicine team. You will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care, supporting the Practice Lead as she gradually decreases her schedule over the next 35 years, and ensuring seamless continuity of care for an established, highly regarded community practice, with the unique goal of transitioning into practice ownership/buy-in.

Scope of Practice:

• Patient Population: Ages 16+ serving an active-aging community; 20% Medicare, 2% self-pay.
\n
• Comprehensive Primary Care: Acute, chronic, and preventative care, behavioral health, and non-procedural women's health (no paps/IUDs).
\n
• Clinical Workflow: 20-minute follow-ups and 4045 minutes for new patient evaluations.
\n
• Clinical Procedures: Routine outpatient care with bi-weekly on-site ECHO support.
\n
• Volume & Call: 1718 patients/day; call managed entirely by Lead Physician (~1 call every 6 months).
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP).
\n
• Open to both experienced NPs and motivated new graduates ready for partnership.
\n
• Active, unrestricted NP license in Maryland.
\n
• Proactive, "no task is too small" team mentality.
\n
