Locums Position in AK for Psychiatrist

• Work schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off from 8 AM to 6 PM, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Participate in overnight call: 7 days on, 7 days off, with minimal call volume.
• Manage a patient load of 20 per shift, maintaining a follow-up to new evaluation ratio of 4:1.
• Provide care for patients aged 12 and older in inpatient mental health and psychiatric emergency settings.
• Work in various environments including inpatient units, community behavioral health, and consult liaison settings.
• Deliver pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy as part of treatment.
• Experience with involuntary commitment is essential.
• Knowledge of anxiety, affective, psychotic, personality, and eating disorders is required.
