ResponsibilitiesNight Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
The staff nurse is tasked with delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across all stages of life. This role involves utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse operates within the organization's established policies and procedures, showcasing professional development and accountability. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
- Coordinating patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
Minimum Education Required:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum Experience Required:
- New graduates from a nursing program are welcome to apply.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications:
- For PRN roles: A year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is advantageous.
- Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
- Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
The position involves working night shifts, providing care in a dynamic hospital environment.
